The iron-like minerality on both the nose and palate of our 2013 Monte Rosso Cabernet is a reflection of the rocky red volcanic soils of the Monte Rosso vineyard. Intense aromatics of cassis and dried blueberries pour out of the glass, along with a hint of juniper and cola. This wine has a powerful structure that presents itself on the front palate, followed by an opulent mid-palate and a savory sweet finish of cherry compote.
