Description
Without a doubt the most ostentatious version of Maggy Hawk we’ve ever made. Not that we did anything special with our winemaking, it is just that 2021 was a perfect growing season and Maggy Hawk vineyard ripened to perfection. Huge aromatics fly out of the glass. Pennyroyal, blueberry, strawberry is ethereal, and the mouthfeel is just the right amount of tannin and plushness. The flavors match the aromatics with layers of baking spice, rosemary, and anise woven in. It’s unbelievable that a wine could be this concentrated, perfumed, and structured and remain so elegant.
