Description
Hickinbotham Vineyard is situated on the high elevation hills of Clarendon, a sub-region along the northern edge of McLaren Vale in South Australia. Supple and refined, this Shiraz reflects the region's temperate climate in its elegance and finesse. Muddled blackberries, white pepper and bergamot aromas and flavors shine, while velvety tannins frame the long finish. Although readily enjoyable, Brooks Road has the structure to ensure decades of cellaring.

The inaugural vintage of Brooks Road Shiraz radiates scents of dark currants and red berries mingle with freshly excavated roots and culminate in the taste of dry, dusty air on the pasture that lingeringly departs with the faintest memory of cedary oak. It’s a spicy, lively thing that beckons you to return.
